The Mission
Putting unique designs on high quality, comfortable apparel is great. But, Emersion is about a lot more. As a kid, Chris, our founder, spent countless hours outdoors. Whether it was just in the backyard or camping for weeks on the beach in the Florida Keys, he remembers his parents always pushing him and his siblings to go outside.
Today our lives are all but dominated by digital devices and the importance of our natural world seems to have taken a back seat. That's why we support and promote the important value of regularly experiencing the outdoors.
In that vein, we are happy to support non-profit organizations who share that mission. 2% of online gross sales go to support Outdoor Outreach, a San Diego based organization working to connect youth with the outdoors. Since 1999 they have worked with over 20,000 young people. We hope that our modest support helps further that purpose. You can learn more through the link below.

Founder
I'm Chris—a dad, husband, and photographer. The one thing I’ve always been sure of in terms of a career is that I wanted to be self-employed. I just think there’s more to life than spending an inordinate amount of time at a job for the sole purpose of collecting a paycheck. I’ve run my own photography business for over a decade now, but none of my entrepreneurial efforts would have been possible without the emotional and financial support of my wife.
The experience I’ve gained in digital imaging and graphics software has allowed me to create, or at least enhance, all the graphics you see on Emersion products. Designing t-shirts is something I’ve always wanted to do. There’s just something about having my own soft, comfy shirts that I can’t quite put into words. Emersion was born out of that passion, blended with a deeper purpose: encouraging people to get outside. I hope the designs and the mission resonate with you.
